Me personally, I would go with the replacing the lens, cause its not hard at all, just a few hours depending on the quality of the seal you have on the taillights. On the Imp SS, the taillights have tabs to pull back and pry the lens off with something as simple as a screwdriver. I take it you want to change the color of your lens to a smoke or clear. After you have removed them you can buy the sealant at Autozone for under 7 bucks. At least try it out yourself, if you so happen to break it, then go the other route.
