Need 11mm x 1.25 tap for Stripped spindle hole for caliper pin

I had some seized brake caliper pins and could not get 1 out with a torch/hammer/rust penetrants/etc... I ended up cutting it off and drilling out the center of what was left of the pin. Stripped an "easy out" trying to get the remaining material out so I drilled it out completely.

Looking for a 11mm x 1.25 thread tap and so far I've had no luck at Home Depot, menards, ace hardware, autozone, pep boys, oreillys, advance auto........ I need the tap before Monday night or I'll be forced to weld the brand new pin to the spindle.

If there's any other pin with a different thread pitch, I'm open to suggestions. I have all taps for every size from 4-13mm except the one I need.

11x1.25 tap

Check one of the OReilly store in you area. I just looked and they might have it. I saw there are a bunch of stores up that way.

Mark: Snowman-33

Whoops. I just saw you had checked them. I was trying to help. Hey, what about Sears?

Yeah, oreillys lists them but its special order and they called the next day to day they're unavailable from the manufacturer (CDT which is century drill & tool). I seen eBay but with the holiday and needing by Monday it doesn't help.

Caliper bolt

Are we talking about the bolts that hold the brake caliper to the front spindle on a B body? If so those are a 7/16 x 20 UNF thread not metric. My B body parts catalog calls out the thread on these bolts.

Edit or try a Dorman 13891 caliper bolt which has an oversize thread for repair of stripped threads, parts stores may have these in stock.

No, not the caliper bracket bolts. It was the caliper mounting pins that take a hex key and hold the caliper to the bracket. I ended up getting the 11mm x 1.25 tap from CDT on Amazon for $7. Worked like a charm thanks to drilling the hole out perfectly and 90% of the original threads were still intact. I bought new caliper pins from advance auto for $5 (autozone had em for $20).

Are we talking about the bolts that hold the brake caliper to the front spindle on a B body???? What car are you working on? Who said that is a metric thread?
The caliper pins are 7/16 x 20 thread and use a 3/8 hex bit. An 11mm x 1.25 thread is dimensionally very similar but it is not the correct thread.
7/16 is 0.4375 inches
11mm is 0.433 inches
20 threads per inch is 0.050 threads per inch
1.25 thread pitch is 0.049 threads per inch

Yes, the brake caliper pin/bolts that install with a 3/8" hex bit. '94 Caprice, stock spindles. The 11mm x 1.25" fit perfectly and matched the 1 good old and new caliper pins exact. Hand threaded it through the spindle hole that the original pin had come out as well. Checked with thread pitch gauge before I ordered as well as online.

I considered it but couldn't find one quick enough and needed the car on the road. Couldn't find a set of the upgraded spindles for the larger lower balljoints either. The threads are solid, torqued the pins on with no issues, original threads showed when I got the tap 4 turns in and the drilled out section popped out. If I doubted it, I was going to drill the end of the pin and put a cotter pin through it and/or tack weld it in place while I hunted for spindles. I put a couple hundred miles on it and now have the other side apart for bushing/ball joint replacement.
