Here's mine. Current mods include dropped spindles, air ride in the rear, Caddilac leather bucket seats, steel wheels with gangster whites, tint, and remote start.

It's going in the body shop tomorrow, and coming out with a shaved hood, shaved rear door handles, and a roll pan. Then I'm redoing the wood in a darker cherry color and installing Impala SS seats.

Gonna give mine a bath in a couple of hours and take pics. Use the link in the sig for the time being.

OK, here's mine fresh from a bath and installation of the lower grill. I'm not sure if I'm digging the lower grill yet.

The OCC doesnt look too bad, my friends 92 has the paint missing on the bumper and the hood looks like broken glass!

Before the polishing of the trim..............

After trim polished loaded up for a weekend...............

What did you use to strip the paint and did you pollish them by hand or machine?

Shammoo pics

Here's few pics of the lost legend "Shammoo"

It started life as a 1993 Caprice demo car for Kicker" audio, Stillwater Designs in Oklahoma. I have a copy of the original bill of sale to prove it. Out there somewhere as two other "sister" cars that were constructed at about the same time. Shammoo was the last of the three wagons. It toured the country for about three years, then was sold to one of Kicker's distributors in the Portland Oregon area. From there, an independent car audio shop, Sound Hound Stereo in Caldwell Idaho bought it. I'm the first private owner in that chain of ownership.

When I spotted it on Ebay a five years ago, I was told the audio portion was pretty well whipped, and bartered for just the vehicle with a "Plain Jane", but all Kicker system, and got it from them for $4500. I was more interested in the shaved roof and tailgate than a whipped stereo system anyway. I'm in a rock band locally in Rochester NY and really didn't feel the need to feel bass thumping my chest while driving as well on stage.

Considering that the motor was nothing more than a stock TBI 5.7 L unit, I became interested in converting the motor over to a TPI based system, and started the infamous "TPI SWAP THAT ATE MY BRAIN AND LEFT TESTICLE" at the Naisso forum, all 48 pages of trial and error, mostly error.

Here's some photos of my path along the way.

This is why I have a death wish for GM designers!

The "digital" number of GM designers NOT on my death wish list.

The result and rerouting of the belt after deleting the A.I.R. pump.

The TPI system on a 400 block

Current "Wagonfest 09" version, with sidepipes. I like the old school, nose down, butt up look. (Same as my women)

from the rear

The Nordskog digital dash is a relatively easy refit into the rectangular 93 dash.

I like the TPI conversion lakeffect... Looks like a very clean swap. I noticed you went with some SLP runners and went Speed Density... Any plans for a superram or stealthram or anything?

Superram? In retro-spec it would have been easier and cheaper to get the whole shebang from Holley in one shot. At the time I started, and still today, I like the nasty look of the siamesed intakes, and will likely keep it for a few years. The dirty part was finally figuring out the problem of getting it running was the fact that so many past owners had hacked into the B+ supply line that I couldn't get enough current to fire it up. Lord knows how many alarms, players, EQ's and gizmo's and been spliced int it and consequently chewed up the B+ line. I found at least six hacks. The difference in current, once rewired, was like once sucking through a straw compared to now standing under Niagara Falls.

To 95wagon.... NICE T56 swap dude... Looking good!

Woodies sure seem to be in the minority around here. Lots of great looking wagons.

Here is when I first bought my wheels 2 years ago.

2 years ago along Lake Superior in the upper penninsula of Michigan.

This summer at Letchworth State Park in NY State.
