I never take the Impala out in winter conditions (just started it for the first time this year), but even I am worried about that myself. So many rusty Caprices and Roadmasters in my area! That sounds exactly like the condition my stock (or "stock" ?) exhaust was when I bought it last summer.

And yeah, I don't think I'll ever be buying Pypes anything again.

I was actually thinking about buying Borla early this year and selling the current parts, but that won't be happening just yet since I lack the ability to uninstall/install myself, and my other vehicle is undriveable as of 3 hours ago. Stay tuned.

Just in case anybody ever was interested in the Pypes Violator mufflers for there cat back. I got the Violator mufflers with there cat back along with there x-pipe (2.5in stainless system) for my 96 SS. I had to do i tiny bit of trimming to make it line up perfect and not rub anything, but thats it... real nice kit. I think the sound is perfect. Doesnt droan on the highway and sounds real nice and mean when at WOT.
it sounds nicer in person, plus it kinda got deeper after the 1000 or so miles ive put on it.
