The gaskets that come with the headers SUCK. Do not use them...period.

Also the flanges on most of these headers are piss poor due to shoddy Quality Control. That makes the supplied gaskets even worse.

Got my drivers side header on today took long as hell because the bolts on the cat that connects to the manifold were so f'ing rusted that they wouldnt give (had no magic rust be gone spray) and had a hard time getting the rear 02 sensor to disconnect. We unbolted the cat from the exhaust and got the manifold out by jacking the car up high as $#!t and finessing the manifold out through the bottom with the cat still connected to it.

Was so exhausted from this that i just left my passenger side manifold on and had to drive about 30 miles home with a open header almost going def lmaoo pulling my car over and turning it off whenever i seen a cop lmao

Had ZERO clearance issues with the header my spark plugs and wires actually cleared it pretty well too i only needed to use 2 of my heat socks for the 5 and 7 wires.

Sooooo sunday from 4pm to 10pm I spent my life trying to finnese my manifolds threw the bottom of my engine bay with the cat attached because the bolts were to rusted to unbolt even after a little WD-40 dosage. I finally got it out and put my header in only to find out that my AC lines were going to be a biyatch during this installation. I tried, my friend tried and his friend tried. I got so frustrated I started banign the hell out of the first flange for clearance and on top of the my beloved (by this forum) Percy Presure Gasket decide that it wanted to fall apart. So 4pm to 11:45pm my life was full of frustration I parked my car and got a ride home i was sick of looking at my car I was willing to sell it if anybody asked lol.

Today I decided to give it another try
I came to my sense my...my ac does not work so how about a "AC Line Delete" the new mod that free up space for headers which are more important to me
I took of the silver circular thing that connects to some ac line (idk the name) and pulled both ac line and tossed them. My headers slid right in. Put 1200 degree socks on the last three spark plugs wires the first one cleared it beautifully.

Definatly feel a big increase in HP but im currently running no O2 sensors so my car is running like ASS and I cant really get into it with it going "putt putt". My car does have better throttle response though.

For those of you who welded a o2 bung hole what thread size do i need? And what location would be best to weld them onto the headers? Do yall fabricate your own hook up pipes?
