Spintech offers stainless but they cost a good deal more, I can't tell by just looking at the pic but when I had one it was mild steel.

I've got the EXACT SAME setup. It's great! Street car, mild bolt on mods, 13.7 quarter.

They don't cut breaks at small quantities and resources are definitely more expensive now.

However, i've a piece of 2' or so 2.5" 304 stainless pipe lying around, collecting dust. Used to be my end pipes, but changed to spintech S pipe a year or so back. Shoot me a pm if interested.

Well, today I finally got it done ! Talk about a grin ear-to-ear... Now my car sounds just like the cars i hear at the drag strip...Perfect ! :-)
I decided to merge all clips and made a 9 minute movie of the 4 hours i was at the shop.
It starts with a rev of the "before" system, and ends with mech reving the catback, incase you don't have 9 minutes to waste...;-)

Some notes for those yet to try this, Pypes X-pipe does not come with flanges to bolt to stock CATs. Mine were so rusted after 230+K I had an exhaust leak there. So I had to buy those and some hangers to support the tips on the end of the system.
Besides that, we made it work with just extra pipe and welding, they have NO pipe bender there...
My muffs were so short we angled them at the tires a little and not straight out to make the parts i purchased work.
Here's the vid

I will post up some pics too...

They had to dimple the X-pipe to clear the crossmember so they heated it up and hit it...

Got a couple hundred miles in now and it's almost there...
DR side is perfect. PASS side i need to have the OTA pipe looked at cuz when i go over manhole cover or pothole i get a lite metal on metal bang noise.

Considering this Mish-Mosh of parts and not a "kit" asked them to install i can't complain. when i schedule next oil change i will have it checked and fixed if possible.

I also know what drone is now, i thought i had it with muff delete but that was nothing compared to this... The resonators on the stock system do a HEC of a job.... I wouldn't change a thing though...I just stay away from 1700 RPM

A few weeks ago had oil change and had them heat up and add more to the dimple in this piece.

I was hitting the cross member i think and rattled in "D" but not in "N".
Car is almost rattle free now from the 2.5" system hitting stuff.
