Angelo's Exhaust Thread

Well it's finally MY turn to make a thread, and stop vicariously living through others
by posting in their threads of CAT-BACK delight !
My Bitchin' setup is Pypes-X -> Spintech Super Pro Shootouts -> Dynomax 2.5" OTA -> Cherry Bomb Chrome Tips
All i need are half dozen Band clamps i am working on getting and then have it installed.

After all the pics i have a question or two.....
I did a little "test" fit, I couldn't wait to see how things are gonna shape up !

Obviously gonna need some CUSTOM pipe work tween the OTA and Chrome Tip, to get that don't "F" with me 45 Degree angle look out behind the rear tire...

I was seriously Impressed the Spintech Inlets & Outlets ACTUALLY lined up and connected to system in the mock-up....
GOD only knows how far off this is to where it all really sits under the car, still i was amazed.

So... does anyone wanna take a guess as to if i'm in for a tough install getting these Muffs to fit tween the Pypes-X and OTA's without more custom bent pipe ???

Here's some more of what i call the SEXY PITCHAS.....

For the fit question i have a couple more pics to aid in discussion...

Another one of those "Most fun with your clothes on" things....

Should sound awesome, I hope the tails line up right, I have a hunch they might be too close to the pumpkin as the stock mufflers are offset/offset, not offset/center and the Spintech Pro Streets are a very small case.

you should be alright with the Spintechs fitting in between and not having to do another pipe. The Pypes x pipe is generally made a little long. The ones that I have installed I had to cut the x pipe off a little bit in the back to position the muffler in the right location.

Looks like it is going to be a nice setup.

So, i had my mech do a mock-up and looks like the muffs are short so i need some 2.5 "
straight pipe. About 2 one foot long pieces.

i found this.

Since you're not going stainless other than the X and the tips, why not just grab some pieces at the parts store? Last time I bought some pipe it was maybe $7 for a 16" piece of 2.5" at Advance Auto.

I've got the EXACT SAME setup. It's great! Street car, mild bolt on mods, 13.7 quarter.

Maybe this will clear up my line of thinking...

mech pointed out the piece is for between
end of X-pipe and muffs. Spintech muff he said is also stainless. (i think so too)

idea is to NOT have stainless->aluminumized ->stainless
and just go stainless with a flange already molded into end of the pipe.

So only the OTA's are not stainless i guess...
