I use a heat gun and a screwdriver. Move the heat gun around a section at a time, prying between the lens and the body with the screwdriver. Once wide enough, stick another screwdriver in there to hold it open as you move to the next section.

When we had to fix her Grand Marquis lens, she put a hose to the vent while leaving the bulbs in to pressurize and it popped open.

She used 4 psi, but started off with a couple. And do wrap a towel around the lens in case it blows.

cheap stuff :
yellow coolant, 160stat, key fob, sewer pipe, tb bypass, air pump delete, 91 tails, pass rear window sag, rusted caliper pins
not so cheap : heater core, radiator, water pump, carpet,
driver side door switches, stock radio, black switch panels, clear corners, oil cooler hose
expensive :
2-tone seat covers

SEM gray 15393 : Duplicolor DGGM DSGM436 or WA9795

i wouldnt do the oven method, too dangerous, i had a bad experience. Blow dryer/heat gun easier to control and easier to work with.
