87 vs 91 Octane tune

What's the difference between 87 and 91 Octane tunes?

I do not know for certain, but I would presume the timing is more aggressive for the 91 octane tune. I base this on the antiknock qualities of the higher octane fuel.

1991 OCC 461 (.030 over 454) BBC, 3.23 posi, flash to pass, drop spindles & springs, custom fender skirts, stainless full moons, Recaros, Blazer console, MOMO/wood SW w/QR, custom wood shift knob, Pioneer DEH P77DH
1992 OCC now with 5.7 tbi, DEH P77DH

Garage
I've always been curious about the hp or quarter mile time differences between the two on a similarly set up car

1996 Impala - 190,000 miles - 1/4 mile: 14.94
2008 Grand Marquis - 1/4 mile: 16.26

I had my tune done in person by pcm4less, I asked and was told the premium fuel tune was worth about 10hp

You get better gas mileage with the 87 octane, because it has less additive, and more actual gas.

Interesting... But doesn't high compression LT1 demand at least 90 Octane?
