FWIW - they are different sizes - it only fits on one.

If you have a small leak, Adding some R-134a is fine. It will get you by for even a few years.. If you find a spot somewhere in the system that is wet with compressor oil, You have a big leak and its best to service the system.
The Fill side (Low pressure side) is on the Accumulator or receiver drier depending what you want to call it. The High side port (Dont touch that when charging) is near the battery/ coolant tank screwed into the high side pressure line.
When the low side is around 30 PSI on a decently hot day, It should have enough R134a added.
