ROTM: Exhibition Submission

Hey all,

My friend shared this video with me and I thought it was pretty cool. Some car customization group was tasked with souping up a retired Police Fleet Caprice and they made a video explaining some of the modifications. While it's not my ride (I wish it was...) I thought it might be worthy of an exhibition submission.

Enjoy

Was reading the rules to see if I was allowed to submit a nomination for a non-B body ride, and saw #2;

The official RULES OF Ride Of The Month- Read it.

It's hard to point to the rules without being looked upon as 'that guy', especially a newbie, but there it is. If an admin can chime in on whether or not it's OK to submit something other than a B-body, I'd appreciate it. I'm not trolling here, e.g. a guy with a new Hellcat signs up on a Camaro or Mustang forum and puts in a submission for their 'competing rival' muscle car. Said troll then goes on to state how awesome their ride is and how it's better than X or Y. I'm not that guy...

There are some wealthy people who have multiple cars, all of different brands (not me, I just have 1, but hoping to buy a B-body soon). I'm old enough now to appreciate other brands and models, and don't have a blood rival hatred (think Yankees/Red Sox) of other rides. If it's cool, I like it. So if it's OK to submit something else, I'll make an entry for October, otherwise not.

Thanks,

-ace

[Edit]

p.s.

I just saw the prize for winning ROTM - Winner receives site badge and their car featured on the home page. From that I can figure out on my own that it's not appropriate to submit non B-body rides. I'll have to wait until my barn find is resurrected.

You can always stick description of your other rides in your sig, and in your profile's 'Garage' pics. It's also allowed to find a vague unrelated point in a thread somewhere, and claim that it "reminds me of something the same as this part of my other car", whereupon you post a pic of said non- B-body - in a real subtle manner than none of us will pick up on.

See, we have solutions for every complex problem in life. So, what's this POC you're driving now?

Final thought: You can try a pic of a Ford plowing into a lot full of MOPARs. It may not win anything, but we'll appreciate it anyway.

\'96SS SOB: SSRI, Herter Tune, Tri-Y II, SLP SS, 3000 Edge, F/HO bars, METCO extendeds, Bilsteins, currently Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta (315/35 rear)
\'96FWB BUW-Butt Ugly White: [gonna change that just as I did my last one] boxstock [yep, that's changing too]
