Talking Re-introduction.

I joined the forum many moons ago when I had a 1996 Caprice. Well why cruising the classifieds I decided to make an impulse by because the garage is looking a tad bit empty with no project in it. So I bought the cheapest Impala SS in Canada.

It's a 1995 Chevrolet Impala SS
Has 190k kms
runs drives stops
needs some TLC and I thought I would come back to comb through the forums to fix the odds and ends.

I'm not looking for a show car or full restoration considering it has rust here and there which is expected. but floor pans frame is all solid.
The seller included enough spare parts to build another Impala SS so once I give it a once over and figure out what I need some stuff will be for sale. I got a complete interior, hood, trunk, wiring harness for the whole car, 2 spare motors, spare transmission, spare rear axle assembly, front and back bumpers, and spare OEM SS wheels.

I plan on cleaning it up. and just taking it on drives with the wife.

current issue I am looking at is a very random stumble at idle the seller told me about but I am yet to actual experience.

Here are some pics thanks for having me back and look forward to some participation!

My guess is you either haven't gotten it hot enough or wet enough yet for it to act up. It's going to be impossible not to find the answer somewhere in the Stickies in Engine Probs/Maint. section.

Welcome back.

funny you mention that. I fired it up to move it out of the garage and it did it just a quick blip and then back to running normal. My only guess so far is the car fails emissions testing and may need new cats and while I'm there I will throw in some o2 sensors and see what happens.

Welcome to the forum.

My monitor is showing your car as medium adriatic blue. Not a SS color. Is my monitor wrong, is it a repaint, or is it a clone?

The trunk SPID sticker should have a WX3, and the tire sticker on the door should show 17 inch tires.
