Parting a 96 DGGM 9C1 Caprice with LT1 Engine (150K) , rebuilt 4L60e and many other parts. Listing the Drivetrain locally as well and once that sells the full part out will begin. Engine runs strong and trans shifts perfect shame the floors and gas tank mount are shot.

Car is DGGM and all panels will be for sale with the exception of the Front Fenders which are in bad shape. The doors, hood and trunk lid are in great shape and already have interest in the Body Shell. The car also has Gray Interior that would match your SS interior so there will be many items available.

For now....

Hood Badge - $75
Engine, Trans, ECM and Harness - $900

Will update thread as items sell and more are available...Thanks!

Here's some pics....

It sure will be once I start to part the car fully. Just trying to keep most of it together til the Engine is sold.

Sorry for the late reply....been busy. By lower dash, I assume you are talking about the Dash Face like this....

94-96 Impala SS OEM Radio Face Plate Interior Dash Trim Bezel | eBay

If so, then yes this piece is there and appears to be 100% and do not see any holes or anything like that may have been drilled. It even has the correct Black Center and Not the fake wood grain that I've seen on some Gray Interior Caprice's. Just need to swap over your "impala SS" dash plaque from the Caprice Classic that's there now.

As I said, it seems to not be modified in anyway and don't see any issues at all except maybe some dust/dirt which I'll clean up. I can only assume the push pins are all there and can't confirm until it's removed. If you're interested, I would like $100 for the entire piece and will get you pictures of the actual part once removed. If not, no biggie as I'll keep it for a spare. I could pull/sell this bezel at anytime before parting the whole car. I've already pulled the DGGM Impala Grill for someone else and waiting to see if they still want it.

How old are the shocks and springs, i'm interested in those.
I don't have much history at all of this car. The guy I got it from had it a short time for a project and the girl before him had it 8 years. He did say when I went to look at the car that it had the Impala Springs installed but no idea what that means as to what their condition was when installed. If you need more pics of the stance, I can post them up. They seemed to ride fine and had no issues I could see or feel. Maybe I could pull some part numbers off of them when I start to part the car.....which has not happened yet. Had a few calls on the engine/Trans setup but no one has bought it yet. So still could not sell the springs/shocks until I start to part.

I had the price in my last post but it was kinda buried in the response so you may have missed it. $100 is what I'm asking for the dash. The 1 link I posted they were asking $150 and I saw another where the guy wanted crazy money for $350. So $100 seems like a fair price based on what I've seen.

If you still want it, let me know and I'll wait for a Warmer day to pull it or park it in the Garage Overnight. I don't want to go pulling on this part in Cold Weather and risk cracking any of the mounts. I'll get you some good pics so you can see exactly what you are getting and a full and accurate description of ANYTHING I notice.

EDIT - DAMN!...Just checked and that part "started" at $150 but Sold for $225. I'll still stick with what I'm asking plus ship.

Always in Need of Fasteners

Since you are in Chester, PA, I'm guessing that you might have as much rust as I do here in Pittsburgh on a 21 to 23 year old car. When you finally take the front fenders off that are not for sale, would you be interested in removing and selling off any and all fasteners that are still useable? I could really use the clips and nuts that hold the coolant reservoir to the wheel housing and the fender. I am removing and replacing my radiator core support because it rotted. There are things that are part of the body mounts for the radiator core support that I call Body Mount Retainers and Fred Kiehl calls Body Bushing Shells. The body bushings push over the retainer/shell and the bolt goes up through the middle of it all. I can only find these things brand new for certain models of Jeeps and of course they are not an exact fit.

Let me know. Thanks.

I think I know the exact clips you're talking about. are they kind of a Green color and are what I would describe as a Flat Slide Clip that has a Square head Bolt mounted to it? I may already have some of those "Squirreled away" somewhere from previous Front ends. I tend to hold onto all these little weird parts cause you never know when you may need them.

Not sure if I could find them quickly but could maybe look at the ones on the car now to see if I could somehow remove them for you and still keep the tans secure. How many would you need and let me check their condition if we get some warm weather. If not or if I decide to just keep them, you may want to just hit a local PnP and grab some yourself.

Hood Badge SOLD

The hood badge has been SOLD!!

Any interest in selling just the engine by itself? I don't need a trans or harness, but might be interested in the ECM as well.

Thanks!
I might do that and will follow up with a PM so we can take this discussion offline.

I would prefer to sell the entire package but may consider just keeping the trans for a spare....just in case. I need to post this up on CL and with the warmer weather coming would prefer to sell the whole package together. Not sure of your timing but I'll shoot you a PM.

You selling headers with motor?

Sorry Swampfox, I missed this before. Any relation to Eagles old coach Marion Campbell (aka - Swampfox) ?

On the headers, it depends on who buys the motor/Trans and if they want them. If not using the setup in a bbody, they may not want them. If they do, I would include them for a little extra cash. If not, I'll most likely sell them here along with the cats for a little more. I'll let you know once this sells and give you first shot at them. Initially I'm only thinking like $150 for headers and maybe another $50 for the cats but really need to see their condition first before pricing so don't quote me on that.

Sounds good to me. No rush. It would be a spare motor for me, either to get sent to Karl Ellewein in the fall for a rebuild, or to replace my current 183k stocker if it pops at the track before going to Karl.
Got your pm and will follow up in a few minutes.....
