I have a set of SEM painted gray custom made A pillars with molded tweeter pods for sale, these come with the CDT Image Enhancement Kit.
The CDT kit comes with 2 tweeters, tweeter attenuator control unit, angle mounts, flush mounts (the flush mounts are used with the pillars).

The pods are molded in with fiberglass they are texture coated, painted with medium gray SEM 15393 and clear coated with SEM clear 15303.

Keep in mind that the SEM 15393 is not a perfect match to our (Impala SS) interior gray (the SEM is a little lighter).
Also if you have a different interior color these can be painted to match your interior. All you have to do is pop off the tweeters, remove them from their mounting cups, scuff all the pieces with a medium scotch brite pad. Spend a little extra time scuffing the edges and back edge of the pillars, that will keep the paint from peeling because the back of the pillar is not prepped because it was never intended to be painted. Dust the parts with a few coats of your preferred color then give it one good coat, let it dry and give it a clear coat if you wish.

I am selling these because I am going to go with a different brand tweeter and since I already made these for the CDT's, I can no longer use these because my new tweeters are a different size.

The CDT kit cost $100.00, plus the cost of the pillars, materials and the time to make them.

Also, you can adjust the tweeters in their mounts to suit your listening preference.

I am selling these for $240.00 with the tweeters plus shipping

Also for those that want to know, the tweeter cut out is about 1-5/8 to 1-11/16 inches.

Here is a link to the album with a few more pictures.

Thanks

Ok I need info on those kicks. Better pics and if you have build pics post those too.

Sorry for the late response guys,

This is for everyone that asked about the kicks , the ones pictured I made a little over six years ago. I have a lot of pictures of the building process and pictures of my first kicks that I made before these. I have all the pictures on a few back-up hard drives, I have most of the pictures together now and as soon as I get the rest of them together I will make a post in the audio section for you guys.

Thanks.

Your local! Where the hell have you been? I want to listen to the car and see the kicks in person. Would it be possible?

Did anyone buy these? I'm in the middle of doing the same thing. The music sings to me on my feet.

Thread back from the dead but still relevant. I have two sets of a pillar trim but I need tweeters and mids molded into them Who does that? I'm looking for a source. Also on the driver's side I'd like a tach molded in also. Three molds on driver's side and two on passenger side. I've got all kinds of Legatia L1, L3 Pro and L6's. I've got the Focal K2 speaker set, some TM 65's and God knows what all. I need to get the stereo installed and need a good source for the A-Pillar molding. I've got every amp in the world......well, most of them and probably have about 3000-4000 watts worth of high end amps. I can install some of those but need help with the A-pillars. Who do I see.

There's a thread where a guy (maybe this guy) posted extremely detailed step-by-steps on building some - maybe give it a go yourself?

Yep, back when upgrading to 6.5" speakers up front was strongly considering going with a Componet setup and placing the tweets in the A pillars. In the end I just opted to go with 2way 6.5" upfront.

But in doing some research, I found a lot of threads on the internet that will walk you through how to do this yourself. It does not look difficult and if you have an extra set of pillars, why not go for it. Also found a guy that would do them for you but it was about $400 for the set. Check the thread here on the 6.5" speaker install as "I think" there was some info I posted there.

I'm doing the custom molding myself. It's really not too difficult when I matched it all up. I'm going with Hertz tweeters as I have Hertz all the way around and a 12in kicker powered substation. I'm going to take pics and do my first tutorial ever here.
