Gasoline works great since it's usaully handy. The other stuff I am sure works well, but I never have any around. Cut a plasic coffee can or a gallon jug in half and let the parts sit for about 30 minutes and then just get a stainless or brass brush and finally just use compressed air to get the parts dry.
