fleetwood and Impala/caprice

I know body wise they are different.. but how are they engine wise? Suspension feel. I might considered getting a 95/96 fleetwood when the time comes.

1994 Caprice 9C1...SOLD 5/25/2012

Same drivetrain.

Suspension will swap.

Stock FW suspension is more floaty than an SS or 9C1 for sure, and even a bit more than a civilian Caprice, and has air shocks in the rear.

There is a Fleetwood section in the forum. Check it out. Many, MANY threads.

1994 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham (Light Adriatic Metallic) - 2 ProHopper pumps, 6 batteries, 13" 100 spokes, Firestone FR380, Edelbrock headers, Flowmaster, Magnaflow cats, K&N, Taylor, NGK...

1994 Cadillac Fleetwood (Medium Taupe Metallic) - sewer pipe, K&N, Hotchkis springs, KYB shocks, SS sway bars, SS rims, TransGo, DynoMax, Taylor, NGK, RM climate control, MP3...

Another difference I just thought of is that while there is a PCM like the Chevy, the Cadillac also has a CCM (Central Control Module). Some people call it BCM (Body Control Module). It mounts in the trunk, and controls all sorts of body stuff.

A nice thing about the FW is you can view DTCs and other body functions (tach, temp, etc.) through the climate control.

Winning a race in a Vette with you and a buddy is awesome. Winning a race in an Impala with you and 3 other friends is BADASS
