Alright guys, it's August and it time for another cruise. I know I said I wanted to do another Galveston cruise and I am a man of my word. So, set your calenders.
Day: Saturday
Date: August 29th
Meet Up Time: 1200pm
I did tweek the route back to Houston from Galveston to make the cruise a little longer and more interesting.

We will meet up at the Target that we meet up at last time. It is a block south of I-10 on Sawyer. They have a big parking lot in case we have a lot of people at the starting point. We will leave the Target at 1230pm and ride out I-10 to meet up with you East Side guys. The Home Depot parking lot is a good place to meet at, but leaving out of the parking lot and jumping on the freeway is a pain with all the traffic and all the cars. So, lets move the spot down to the Walmart at the next exit. The group leaving the Target should get to the Walmart no later than 100pm.
From there, we hit the road. Last year, we all stopped at the Sonic in Winnie for a break and to meet up with Warren and Buddy Lee. I don't know if that will happen this year or not since Warren has moved. Warren, let me know what you guys are gonna do on that end. I know you told me you know some people out that way that might want to ride with us.
From Winnie, we get down to the coast and ride down to the ferry. Last year, we had a couple of problems at that point. Guys, make sure your car is inspected and registered.
We'll cross the ferry and we can head over to Cherry Hill and get some pics.
After that, it's lunch time. I don't know if you guys want to go to the same restaurant as last time or not. I can't remember if the food was bad or not. I "think" it was good. We can go there or hit up another place.
From there, we'll ride down the seawall through Galveston all the way over to Freeport. Then, hit 288 on back to Houston.
