Ok, hope you can understand this.
The switch dosnt work on low.
The switch works on low-medium.
The switch dosnt work on medium-high.
The switch works on high.
I pulled the switch out and continuity tested all positions and it checks out good.
Would this wiring go to the blower relay?
I have a feeling the blower relay is bad, but not sure where to go after this. (checking the switch)
Thanks in advance.

yea NAPA probably has it, i bought it at carquest but im sure its the same quality. the thing that goes wrong with the heater blower resistor is that the resistors rust and the current doesnt conduct anymore. the problem was gradual. first one speed didnt work and then two of them went out. just like you i used to think that the problem was the switch but my friend who works for GM knew what the problem was right away. he said it was common

Here's the part, and each fan speed has a resistor / coil, so when one corrodes to the point of failure, you loose that fan speed...

Cool, pictures now make me confident of the part I ordered.
I have a AC Delco one comin, brand new, was $30 bux.
Thanks for the help guys.
I have all the dash and panels off since I was puttin in amp wires and a 7" touchscreen.
I see this is located behind the glove box, so now I'll go investagate on my whip.

Is there any preventative matainence one could do to this?
Paint, oil coat or???
