so i know my AC dont work but just wondering if this is normal and what is really wrong with my AC.

my AC has a leak somewhere but if i refill it will come on and pretty much leak by the end of the day. i notice that when i refill it and run it, one of my pulleys turns then stops and pretty much does this the entire time i have my AC on. Also when im driving with the AC on, the car feels like it spudders. Can the pulley be causing the car to spudder?

Step 1: Read this and educate yourself. Then, start asking questions... http://www.familycar.com/classroom/ac1.htm

The pulley is the clutch on the front of the compressor. It will only engage when there's enough pressure in the AC system. To get that pressure the system has to have enough freon in it.

Finding the leak might be hard. Shops will use an additive to the freon and then a UV light to see where the leak is occurring. I've tried this a few times and it hasn't worked. My car has a "cold weather" leak. It only leaks if the ambient temp drops below 40f. Warmer and all checks pass. Totally sucks. But I think my compressor is shot now as it squeeks all the time anymore.

Anyways, take it to a shop and have them find the leak.
