I need to replace the fan motors in my car. I looked them up on GMPartsshop.com there are two different applications. I need to know if the Impala SS has the HD cooling or not.

The thing that confuses me is when you select the HD cooling it only shows a part for the left motor.
When you select the without HD it shows a choice for left and right motor.

Do the motors on your car look the same or different.
The HD is the left one. It will be a little flatter than the right one, if you have it.
If you dont then they will look the same.

Impala SS should have HD cooling. Look for RPO V03 on the SPID label in the trunk. The right fan motor should be the same regardless.

Thanks for the help guys. I took a look and the left motor is bigger. I order two new motors this morning.
