I don't think he had a choice, the new harness came with it.

What you could do, is use the VATS box out of your 9c1, into your VATS harness, then just make a jumper (a removable jumper?)

nice lottsa work. why didnt you glass it after all?

well i was wondering will the fiber glass stick to our stock bumpers since its urethene plastic because i was planning on fiber glassing the entire bumper because if i would of did just the lower part it would of cracked since the upeer part can still just urethene.

Lot of work there and it shows. The studio scoop looks better without the front plate.

So you ended up just glue/screw into the urethane bumper?

well thats what i did. i just swapted out the boxes and wala it bypasses vats but my vats light blinks so imma flash the pcm to removes the flashing vats light or just remove the blub from cluster lol

More info on this; The 9c1's didn't have the gauge signal even hooked up.
I'm thinking if you hooked up that wire to a stock 9c1 the bulb would flash regardless, as the jumper isn't on its approved list of resistors.
What I did for my install, was disconnect the wire, flashing light fixed!

well i added the plate to give the car a stock factory look. so for people who has a b-body like me and you or knows alot about these cars know it is after market, but for ever one else they cant really tell the difference or know if its after market because to them its just another impala ss/caprice lol.:p
well the front studio scoop is only held together by screws.

Great job here dude! Looking mean! Did you go forged internals on the 355? I'm currently working mine over and went all forged except for the crank...unless I find more money.

You want to definitely go forged if you plan on stepping into the forced induction realm.

OBD2 Interior Harness Complete/ one thing i did learn is that if u keep the 1994-1995 PCM and used it on the 1996 harness the pcm does not know u have extra o2 sensors or crank sensor and u will not get an engine code when using a 1994 or 1995 Lt1 and the pcm. so for guys asking if u can use a 1994 or 1995 lt1 on your 1996 the answer is yes and make sure your get an obd1 pcm so you will not get any trouble codes, AWESOME:D
