Hi guys, My friend just gave me 96 impala SS for my birthday No pics yet. What a awesome friend huh?? But anyways its sitting in his backyard rite now and i need to replace/fix on of the rear brake lines and also the cooling fan is not coming on so i have to see whats causing that not to come on.. Its been sitting for about a year now and im looking to bring it back to life and make it my everyday driver. Any suggestions of what needs to be done since its been sitting and the fan not coming on.. maybe its common thing thats an easy fix.. THANKS :confused:

Welcome! And yes, very good friend. Check your relays for your fans and see if they are ok. Check the connection and see if they are plugged in and no wires are broke. Lastly if all else fails use a jumper wire and see if they are getting juice and see if they arent dead or stuck. And.... POST LOTS OF PICS!!!!!:D

Thanks man.. yeah im deff no mechanic but I will try this and see if i can figgure out the problem. i can not wait to get this car on the road and be back in a big car.. Cough Cough and get out of a civic.. lol not gonna lie i love the thing. 98 honda civic. 180k.. $30 bucks to fill the tank and i paid $250 for it from a friend who owns a tow company here in boston. ive owned it for a year now and only put in front pads and a oil change so far.. im loving it but i deff need some V-8 power under my foot. i plan on putting some 22's on it soon once i get it road ready.
