I just deleted my A/C compressor (ceased up) on my B4U Caprice with the LT1 as you can see in the photo. This was not an easy task, ok now I searched and searched for the belt size as others have done this with the OEM delete pulley but I had no luck finding the belt size. Part stores are saying the Camaro of the same year is the same one as a Caprice not any smaller, I tried putting a belt 2 inches shorter than the stock one, too tight. Anyone please you got a part number or the correct size of the belt for the OEM delete pulley. Thanks

I just used the stock belt, the pulley is the same diameter as the a/c so why would it take a shorter belt?

Same belt here too, should fit, considering the belt path is nearly the same.
I have a dorman one and had to shim it, looks like yours is a GM one.

Yes the stock belt fits but is loose, it's squeeling for some reason, ill try another that is 1/2 inch shorter than stock.

I had to use a slightly shorter belt. I just drove to the parts store without it and tried them in the parking lot till I got one to fit.

What I did is I used a 1" larger Alternator pulley. Stock belt fit snug. Startups are quick now.
