I've got a 55K LT1 short block out of a 94 Roadmaster. It was a good running motor out of a friends car. I was going to use it for my 84 Monte LT1 swap, but I since have found a cheap forged rotating assembly.

Rather than pull apart a perfectly good shortblock, I figure I could help somebody out by trading for your blown/worn out short block. I have to punch it out .060" and put in new main caps anyways so as long as there are no cracks or stripped threads I'd be fine with whatever you got. Mine is a little crusty and has some surface rust on the #1 cylinder wall, didn't effect how it ran and is probably just from sitting so long.

I was thinking a core and throw $125 my way would be a fair trade. I would trade straight up for a clean .060" over block.

So Paul,

IF you can't take it when the people you've ****ed over mention in passing on another forum mention what a dick they think you are - can you take it if they say it here?

As has been said, you've always been a good guy in person - -and even privately during the right phase of the moon - but dude, the **** you pull on here is just plain DICKISH.

It's DICKISH that everybody who doesn't agree with you gets called a "baby". Talk about HYPOCRICY!

It's DICKISH that when the people you've banned from here - AT RANDOM - mention someplace else what a dick you are, everybody on that whole site is pointed at and called a bunch of pussies. You boast more than anybody on earth about how little you care about what anybody thinks - then run to the misk as fast as you can to post about what pussies THEY all are for not liking you. Talk about HYPOCRICY!

It's DICKISH how many times you've whined like a BITCH about how tired you are of modding us ungreatful wimps - yet you just can't let go of that foot of authority that you get a mile's worth sadistic bully-like pleasure from.

It's DICKISH how you randomly mosey in and out of forum sections and piss on people's good time - just to show that you can. Seriously, get a friend, a clue, and a life.

It's DICKISH that despite being a "supermod" on this site, you:
* haven't contributed one POSITIVE thread or comment to anybody in YEARS
* you disappear for weeks or even months at a time - and EVERYBODY here is the better for it
* When you DO burden the forum with your presence, there is a collective "awe ****, not this **** again" mood until you've succeeded in scratching your patheticly fragile ego by ****ing over some random wagon owner, or a helpful old guy.

It's DICKISH that you actually kid yourself into believing NOBODY could do your "job" or that you're actually doing ANYBODY a favor.

So Paul, **** you and your favor, **** you and your arrogance that nobody but you can handle such a rough gig of modding, **** you and everybody that looks like you for the way you've gone out of your way to be a ********** of the highest order to good people helping others that you wouldn't, and **** Shane, Walt, and anybody else for thinking it'll be cute to type "He's a good kid". You're not a good kid. You're not a good adult. You're a miserable ****in psych ward escapee who couldn't FAKE the ability to play well with others if your suck assed life depended on it. If anybody but Hack owned this forum, you'd be out on your fat ass looking in and everybody knows it.

I assure you, I'm absolutely NOT a baby or a pussy and I DO understand the word "no". So in YOUR house, on YOUR forum, in YOUR section - as someone who is sick and god damned tired of your jackass hypocricy, your deplorable modding inability, your ridiculous double standards, and isn't going to give you the pussout of my spoken truth being said on any other forum but this one - as "directly to your face" as I can possible make it - Let me type this slowly for you - Paul, YOU ARE A DICK AS A MODERATOR.

... and before you try to bore us with another played out re-run of your tired assed game about "you can't get a break since nobody else ever volunteers to step up to the plate and help moderate" - you know damn well that I actually have on several occasions.

Please try to be nicer. Have a good weekend. Love to mom and sis.

Your friend,
John

Trying to figure out what wagons used what interior colors, and for what years, and what they were called. I was under the assumption the OCC, RMW, and Caprice wagon used the same blue, red, and tan interior colors from 1991 to 1993, then from 1994 to 1996 the Caprice wagon and RMW used a new set of colors; a darker more purpleish red, a lighter blue, and a slightly different (lighter?) tan. I also know the Caprice wagon used a gray that stayed the same (I think) from 1991 to 1996 that the RMW and OCC never had. Is all that correct??

My '91 and '92 Oldsmobile brochures are very detailed but mention nothing about available interior colors, however my '92 OCC shop manual does, here they are:
Camel
Dark Maple Red
Very Dark Sapphire

Anyone know what the newer colors were named, and what year they came out?

After months and months of storage, from time to time I work/replace something.

The biggest change was the ACdelco WP sensor. at first it worked great, 30 minutes of idling and driving with no problems. then it slowly started creeping up, and eventually got higher than my likeing and turned the A/C on, and it got cold again.

So, any ideas on what it could be?

Due to some unforeseen events I'm forced to part with my Impala SS. I'm the third owner, I still have all the receipts from the first owner who took excellent care of the car. She sold it to a car collector who used it as his day to day driver in the spring/summer. The car has been very well maintained. The computer was replaced by the previous owner, which I don't think it needed to be. The second owner also put on a K&N cold air intake and a hyper tech power tuning chip. Since Ive owned the car I've replaced the distributor and part of the ignition system. The car runs/drives beautifully and is very fast. Very sweet to drive and I will miss it. The downside to the car is that there is some faded pain on the front bumper (see photos) and some small dings on the rear drivers side quarter. The body is near perfect otherwise and is very clean. It has been stored winters and there is no rust. These easily repairable and minor imperfections are the reason this car is selling for less than the others. Please ask an questions and feel free to request more photos. E-mail me an offer Thanks.

Just got home from work and I got a little something in the mail.

About a month and a half ago, I had my hair cut and donated it to Locks of Love, about 12" off the top (yeah I was a dirty hippie but it was for a good cause) and today I got confirmation in the mail in the form of a post card that let me know that it was in good enough condition to use as hair for a child with any one of various conditions that cause permanent hair loss. (Which is because I went to great lengths... no pun intended... to keep it clean, and tangle-free)

So yeah, as silly and seemingly insignificant as it sounds, I feel really good about that right now, and just felt like sharing it :D
