How much slop / free play is in your B body's steering?

I replaced all of the wear components of my '94 Caprice's steering with the Proforged kit. Everything is tight but the steering still wasn't good enough.

I bought a used 3.0 turn Impala box...

FS: Bell Tech 2105 lowering drop spindles, ABS sensors. $300 shipped OBO.

I've got a pair of Bell Tech 2105 drop spindles that I pulled off of my '94 Caprice wagon. (I put it back to stock height.) They include the backing plates and ABS sensors. (My car's ABS is...

Adjusted power steering box, still sloppy. Help!

Fred, thanks for all of the detail. Which I promptly ignored. Sorry!

I tightened the input shaft to almost full tight. Any looser and I'd hear a click from the box when wiggling the steering...

Adjusted power steering box, still sloppy. Help!

I've got a 3.0 turn Impala box, supposedly only 40k miles on it, in my '94 Caprice wagon. (Ball joints, tie rod ends and idler arm have been replaced with Proforged parts and are nice and tight.) My...
