New GM compressor source?

Looking for a New compressor recommendation, the good, the bad and the ugly. Having mine done as I speak, $480 for a Delphi unit, ouch! Can we find one less expensive for my fleet for the next time...

I have bought from Classic Tube on 3 diff occasions. Spoke with a few guys there and were very helpful. They may be more receptive in fitment issues.

Got a connector off my 95 9C1 donor harness, spliced in and it works fine. Problem solved! That was to easy. Thanks guys.

Driver side, #7 FI wire must have frayed wire / short. Thick part of wiring harness laying right across it. I wiggled it and started it's misfire dance. Now, how do I fix it?

I'm assuming your talking about your 96 Caprice? If so, does it have rear DISCS or DRUMS? if you have DRUMS your driver side rear might be "grabbing first" and pulling to the left. How to check is...
