Maybe we should just change the date?

I'd rather keep the date and change the park since this thread was mostly about choosing the date...

Changing back to Marymoor.

have you looked into Lake Sammamish state park? right off of I-90 and only 3 exists from I-405, practically right where 90 and 405 meet.

click the link for map and address.

marymoor park is at the north of of the lake, sammamish park is at the south end.

Sean, I did look at it, but was looking for painted lines to indicate adequate parking. Is that squiggle in the southwest corner open parking? If it is, then that park looks fine.

I looked at a bunch of parks, and asked a few locals - it's hard to pick when you're new! So if that is indeed parking at that park, it looks fine with me.

parking won't be an issue. we've even parked on grass right near the picnic tables.

now it being seafair weekend hydro races and blue angels flying overhead so close by i'm not sure how busy the park will be. it may (most likely WILL) be packed to the gills.

So it is Marymoor and how many cars are coming for sure?

Will all the cars be parked together?

Remember the 5 p's!!

proper planning prevents piss-poor performance!!

What do you longtime locals think is going to happen if we randomly roll into a park during sea-fair weekend. Will we have a chance of parking together?

I talked to my Daughter in Redmond, she doesn't think that Seafair will give us any grief at Marymoore.....

Thanks for your positive input, Russ. Given that I moved here two months ago, and asked everyone local I could think of, I think I did the best planning that I could. We will change (back) to Marymoor.
