What do you guys think about the vipor 5901 or the prestige 997? I need to upgrade my alarm.

I've had this alarm sitting on the shelf for YEARS!

Do you have a diagram for the 96impala? I've already had to bypass my VATS so I'd like to use the remote start and all the other goodies that come with it.

Go here, this will get you close, this is a diagram that I drew up for people to use, it is a Viper 5901, but generally the pinouts are the same, it may help. download rev A. main difference is you have a separate relay module and the new models have the remote start relays built in to the main unit.

hey 94MI9C1 i just purchased a alarm/remote start for my 95 impala. will that diagram for the 94 caprice be the same???
ps i am alot closer than NC i am in tawas city michigan. maybe we can meet up hahaha

It should work for your 95 caprice, It worked for my 96 Impala, his diagram is very detailed.

As stated you should be good to go, there were only slight variances in between the years, but nothing that would affect an alarm install. Sorry for the delay in replying to this, I just saw it.
