Anyone happen to have their stock 90s caprice seat out of their car and would be willing to take a couple quick measurements? I only have the one car so I can't remove mine until I'm absolutely ready for the swap. I just got 97 grand prix gtp buckets that I want to bolt to my stock 95 caprice bases. The GP seats bolt holes are from center to center:
14.00" front to back 15.25" side to side Again I would be greatly thankful if anyone has a few minutes to assist me.

Sorry don't have the measurements handy but might have an old pwr rail in storage. I'll look for it this weekend. But what would that really do for you? I think it is a safe bet you will need to redrill the holes Assuming it even fits. But you won't know until you look at the Caprice rail and do your OWN measuring. Besides there could be other differences in the seat bottom that may require you to do other modding.
I appreciate you don't wont the car down but it really does not take long to remove and reinstall a seat. Why not just pull the Pass. seat and do your measurmnts from that since the rails are the same. The seats look like they would be a nice option, wonder if they made them in Med. Gray like the Impala color.....hmmmmm? My bonnies are going to need to be recovered at some point. But I had to do the same thing when I installed them and just measure the holes on the seat and drill new holes on the rails. Really wasn't that difficult to do.

You still have the rails on the seats. Did you measure the rails or the bottoms of the seats?

Well, pulled the passenger seat this morning, holes line up perfect front to back but the new seat holes are 7/8" wider than the caprice rails. There's not a lot of room to drill new holes so I'm gonna pull out my grinder and oblong the holes on either side of the seat till they line up. Thanks for the help.
