Default Fleetwood/Roadmaster Seats in a Caprice?

Hi all,

The leather in my Caprice, while 98% intact, is very faded, hard, and dirty. The vinyl is pristine, but the leather doesn't really match it anymore.

Can I pull seats out of say, a Roadmaster or Fleetwood and have them bolt right in, wiring harnesses and all? Or will there be complications?

Fleetwood seats might give you a couple of issues, but should fit. The seats from any B-body will fit with minimal issues. If you get one with lumbar and electric recline, you may have to add a couple of wires. Those may also have separate panels on the sides for seat controls (RMs).

Go for the Roadmaster seats. It's an easy bolt in. Also look for the Roadmaster seats with power recline. They're cool.

That'll work. I read something about them having a vacuum powered lumbar support. How does one go about getting that to work?
