Headers Question

Yep 1slow96 that was I and they were uncoated, but I also didn't care for the design; being the way they curled up and somewhat seemed in the way. It was more a combination of sorts that led me to abandon them. But like you said to each its own and I'm glad there are some people that made them work and used them to their advantage.

I agree with you guys they do take some work and care with the A/C lines, wiper motor harness, and heater core lines but that trouble is worth it to me for the sound I get. I'v been running my hookers since 03 and no issues. I'm all for trying another set of headers, I would just like the same sound I have.

I had forgotten about the wiper motor,since mine is deleted. As for the heater hoses,some replacement hoses come with a tight 90 degree on one end. With the 90 degree ends to the core, my hoses continue under the airbox,tight to the firewall,coming out near the fuse center,and rejoining the original hose route near coolant reservoir. After installing some heat sleeve,the hoses are away from the headers,except for the final bend into heater core. I've also been wondering about using "header wrap" on the a/c lines. Seems to me it would help a lot.

There aren't any. Everyone stopped making headers for B-Bodies, because nobody bothers to read the stickies!! <---- HINT HINT HINT.
