I just had a 22. Glenfield marlin model 60 rifle passed on to me by my grandfather. This rifle meant alot to him and due to his age, he decited to pass it to me. Problem is, I have no clue where to start. He brought the rifle from WA. When i asked if its registered he had no clue guns were even registered. I believe the rifle is a 1980, from what I searched. How would I go about to be able to own this out right?
Thanks |

It's a rifle not a handgun, don't worry about it but if it makes you feel better, have your grandfather write out a bill of sale as a gift just in case to transfer ownership. BTW, It's NOT an assault weapon either.
