There is also a c-clip under the little metal plate



This is what it looks like with the abs cut out lol
I got feed up & cut it out




Here is the horn wire pushed back in




& this is the finished product with the old wheel





Sorry my car looks so bad

one more thing, do you need a special tool for the clock spring or can you just use a screwdriver or pliers to pry off the little clip?

There is a tool for it, but if you do not care if you destroy the clip, you can use a screwdriver, and pick, or whatever else you choose to get it off. If you destroy the clip, you will not be able to reinstall the clockspring if you want to go back to an airbag, unless you get a new clip.

Hi, i have to replace the indicator/wiper stalks on my brother's car, could someone please advise me on how to take the airbag off and what is the torque setting for the steering wheel bolt please?

What is/are the indicator/wiper stalks, and what kind of car is it?

The FSM does not give a specific torque setting for the steering wheel nut for B body cars. I would guess about 40-50 ft lbs.

Ok i have done everything according to the how to. But the wheel will not come off. I dont know if the splines are seized together or what. Can anyone help please
