Come on Texas people, this is an event for you. Your participation determines the outcome. Don't sit on the fence, commit. Otherwise, this event, like so many others will just fade away.
Nothing better than seeing forty or fifty Impalas going down the track. At my first ImpalaFest, in 1998, we had a convoy of well over a hundred cars, driving from the hotel out to Ennis. It was awesome! We had 125 cars go down the track, that day. Obviously, those days are gone, but still, I know there are some of you out there just waiting to sign up, do it, do it now. At the track, yea baby!!!!!!!!!

Some of ya are aware of my son and him totalling the wagon on Memorial Day weekend. He is still in a comatose state, but is moving around and is trying to come out of the coma. If he recovers before then we will for sure be there. Sorry. Hope everything goes well with impalafest because I don't want to see it end. Darin Laughard SSOAR
