Unless something happened to your headers before they were installed, they shouldn't be the issue. You'll run into the same problems with stock manifolds. Find the root of the problem. Take some pictures while your under there.

I have no tools except a socket wrench, gonna see about borrowing some from advance auto or something

Then you just need a cheater bar and some PB blaster and your good to go!

just the wrench and pb blaster? I used just a half open wrench and a torque wrench last time but it was a Pita, and the car fell on me HAHA. I learned a ghetto trick after that. If you don't have jack stands and using a sizorjack throw a wheel next to you

Well. I did use jack stands to pick up the front end. Ramps would work fine too. I just used a socket wrench and a cheater bar to break the bolts loose. Did need some extensions. I have limited tools too

Did you ever get it done? I won a trip to massanutten resort back in august. Wish I would have seen this then to help you out. You live in a pretty cool area btw.
