Rear driver side brake sticking?

I keep hearing a metal on metal type grind noise when I step on the brakes. The pads are new and the rotors are too. This is the only wheel I see residue being put onto the rotor from the pads it looks like. Sounds like some air in line when I press brakes. OR I'm guessing mechanic put on pad wrong?
