Good thing you're not coming. Get some rest, and avoid the embarrassment of getting blown away by a bolt-ons car with a 4l80e and 3.73's.

.I drove mine to closer tracks too. It ran 12's any day of the year over here through the mufflers at full weight. 12.4-12.5 in good air uncorked at 1000'. Those 12.3's at Cecil were not in it's final bolt-on glory nor in spectacular Cecil air. You're not in "Pat and Glen" territory yet, Dan

Yeah your car rocks! BUT what does full weight mean Stumpy ?? Believe your car was 300# lighter than mine at 4000#. I know Pats was around 3800#. My cars configuration weighed in 4310# and by IHRA Tech. Figure at 4000#, F/PS weight, the car could have hit a 12.5x. Wish I could come but need to rest this Nerve. Dan

Poor Dan....12.60 with 3.73's driven to the track for my HOBO. Add the stock cam. GWS my friend.
Good luck to all this weekend and let's post up all the new PB's. Moby Dick Motorsports will be staying south on this one.

Thought I would offer some comic relief over ALEX ![]() Btw the PS CAM is no RACE CAM and idles at 650rpm. It has to meet Duration, Overlap and Lift of an F-body cam using the Stock Stamped Rockers. Damn near same specs as a B-Body with 1.6RR's. The only difference, the PS Cam is ground at 110LSA a B-Body is 111LSA. Not much difference, in fact the shift points are identical to my Hobo set up. There maybe a 10 hp improvement but that is about it. Getting back to comparisons. Your car is more than 375# lighter than mine, huge !! AND ole Stumpy's was about the same weight too... That is worth about 4 tenths ...so I am in the ball park ! AND have all the assessories operating and running through Cats and Mufflers. However if the cam is replaced with a real Stocker cam. The car would be running mid to high 11's at 4355 #. AND I would have to have a ROLL BAR !!I would brag that I have the fastest ECIRS G/PS car. But Southern Racer Corbitt Marshburn holds that notoriety. So I cannot win, lol !! Right now keeping it as is. But If trailered I would move up to F/PS. Remove the power steering and AC, add more converter, gear and tire. As is there is a bit more left in it such as a Dyno Tune, weigh shifting. A Mike Harris crossmember is on next years shopping list. Dan

Celeste currently has the 2nd fastest class 6 time at ~4,000 lbs race weight. With me at the wheel it's closer to 4,100 lbs, or slightly less depending on what I took off the car. Celeste may have taken the record had she been willing to pull the belt that day. Where is Nab when you need him?
