Started to do work and found an issues with #7 plug which made me pop head off and found a broken piston and pieces of ring embedded in the head. Need to pull now and tear down motor to see if there is block damage.

So it started out like this...
Hey Bill, one of the spark plugs is smashed, which means the piston was hitting it. I'm going to take the head off to see what's up. ----- Uh oh...ring chunks smashed up in head. Head = Junk ----- ----- And there's your trashed piston! ----- Karl is on standby, waiting to see if block is trashed too... STAY TUNED! |
