I've changed my t-stat on my 95 Chevy caprice a couple of times so far getting to these cold days are starting to b a real pain cuz for some odd reason it seems to b that it's staying open can someone give me an idea wat wrong

the issue I'm having is having is having heat while car is at idle ant then once I get to driving heat dissipates and temp hand goes all the way to cold side

Show us pictures. I'll bet the stat you have is totally wrong.

Sounds like you have an air pocket trapped in the cooling system. Make sure you have the proper t-stat then bleed the system of air properly.

In my experience trapped air causes over-heating,not over-cooling. Summit,and/or Jeg's both carry the proper thermostat if your local auto-parts store can't figure it out.
