He needs the second tree to even out the drag when he's hitting triple digits in 3rd gear

Interesting. My old boss had a 96 Gran Sport vette and I hit the rev limiter in 3rd at 108. I miss shifted from 4th the wrong way. DOH! Good thing too, cuz I got out of it quick and few seconds later while still coasting at about 85ish, I rolled past SIX State Troopers lined up on the side of the road. We decided it was a good time to go home at that point
