Whatever LT1477 paid for it is irrelevant, regardless of why the price went up. The guns value is determined by the market. Whatever he can sell it for is what it's worth.
He bought it BEFORE the shooting because he wanted to own it. If he sells it now, he'll have to pay $1500 to buy it back from someone else, or live without it. Or wait for the price to go back down, IF IT DOES. Who knows, it might be worth $2500 in a month, then someone who buys it now could make money too if they sold it. But then, THEY would have to pay $2500 to get another. If it were your Mini 14, would YOU sell it for $900? I wouldn't. Not being a wise guy, just saying... Possibly all this will pass and prices will go back down, or maybe not. I just bought an AR for $1400 one week ago. I'm glad I did. Sent from my iPhone using AutoGuide.com App

First off, I really do not care for Morgan.
Now, Alex Jones had an opportunity to get his message across, which I mostly agree with, instead he only reenforced the the "crazy wacko" gun owner stereotype. Morgan totally set up Alex, which he made it very easy to, at the end of the interview. Missed opportunity. |

KW I agree with what he states BUT I still do not understand how and why they think there will be no more gun violence if we ban guns like the AR-15???
How will it? What data and scientific facts prove that banning guns or anything from narcotics to rape to theft will deter or prevent the use of it? Reality proves otherwise. Schools are already no gun zones. A law with a penalty. Yet these tragedies still happen. So I can no longer buy a AR-15 style gun. How does that keep a drug gangster from using one? A mentally ill person from using one? |

Retired Gen. Stanley McChrystal......
Well, now we know who's lining this fellows pockets these days. And seriously, the big, bad 5.56. .22 caliber on 'roids outclassed by pretty much any other military or hunting round and he's playing it up like it's a .50BMG. And he knows he's full of it yet he still does it.
