Alex:
Too bad about all the damage..

Looks like you still have good salvagable parts.

Now you have options..What is your thinking for better ET ?

Not really better et but at least the same maybe with a little less nitrous. I have nothing to prove anymore so im not gonna beat the balls off the car. Im gonna make more motor passes and less nitrous passes.

Thats awesome man! props to you.

as much as i love all the knowledge available on forums for just about anything, and how much im thankful for it. i always try to take advice with a grain of salt unless its something that has been proven over and over.

theres nothing worse then asking a question on a forum and then getting replies after replies telling you it cant be done and to spend $$ here or there or to just give up.

on the other hand, theres nothing better then trying your own thing and proving everyone wrong! it's happend to me more then once. then again when you come back and tell your forum buddies what you accomplished often times they'll say your full of sh*t!

Good luck on your next build! Do your own thing and prove everyone wrong again!

That is some mighty good wishful thinking, Impalaex!
All you need to improve over your old engine is:

dome pistons, (14:1 compression)
400 cubic inches
.700 lift solid roller
Shaft rockers
Head studs
6 bolt main
gut car (lose 500 lbs)

That's the ticket!

Ricky Nabby

Good Lord. Hope he checks main alignment. I'd be worried about cap fretting if they weren't doweled.
