Is there some type of internal load protector on our 94/96 imp window motors?
i was rolling down my driver window this morning on the way to work. It struggled due to the ice/frost on the window then it just stopped. Wouldnt go up or down and drove the rest of the way to work with it half way up. It was getting power so that wasnt the issus. At work I took the door panel off and then unplugged the power wires at the motor. As soon as i re connected the power the window started to work fine. Rolled up and down with no issues at all. So im just curious if there is indeed a load protector on the motors or is it just coincidence and I should look into picking up another window motor?

The motors each have electronic circuit breakers to prevent overloads. The breaker should reset after a minute or two.
