Yea you have to play with it for it to come off,thats what i did and that 3rd hose,i guess they come loose over time,just reconnect it with a t and metal clamps is what i did to mine

Whats it for?

Also, The tank is a pain to get back into place. I'm doing it all solo but the car does start.

I think its the avaperator??? But not sure no gas goes threw it tho, but its a bitch for sure lol

Finally done! Took me and two other people along with a jack and some spare blocks of wood to get everything bolted together. Hearing her roar to life was a huge relief to me!

Remember there bolts in the back as well to helpthe straps to lower and easier to bolts the front straps in place

A LOT of people have found that one line "cut" or looks like its cut. Nobody knows why this is. Its the evap line that goes up to the charcoal canister. Look at the hose it connects to and there's a sleeve over the actual hose. Cut that sleeve back and get a straight barbed fitting and reconnect that line when you are finished up.

Im going to do this next weekend. All ac delco stuff on the way. My sender is what isnt working anymore. Always will show like 3/8s tank. I have 67K but heck we are 17 years old now.

I would put the fuel corrector to its like 15 from a memeber I put one in when I put my new sender and now when tank is full it dont go past the f
