To me the fact that any average Joe can walk into a Chevy dealership and drive off with a varified 500+ hp car with ps, pb, air, cruise, leather interior, etc. is truly amazing. It seems not that long ago that a 220 hp IROC Camaro ot Mustang GT was the $hit! If you had a 500 hp car and were running 12's or 11's with a gutted interior, roll cage, tubbed, etc you were the king of the 'hood! Everyone hated the "electronic crap" that was coming out on all the new cars, mainly because we had no clue how to deal with it. Now look at things. We thought these smog mobiles were the end of the hp wars. Little did we know it would be better than ever. I mean, 500hp is L88 Corvette and LS 6 territoy!

ok...a factory supercharger is cool......but IMHO the Zo6's 427 NA 500hp is still WAY cooler...now if they put that in a camaro......I would hit it.

tuned an LS7 Z06 the other day
aftermarket air box, NGKtr6 plugs and tune
499RWHP SAE correct on a dynojet 488 CA 91 pump gas
Posted up mid 7's @ 94MPH in the 1/8th the same night as the dyno
super sick!

Clutch lifespan may vary
