I work with so many guys that have this belief that police cars are modded beyond the factory for performance. Oh really..... And my tax dollars are paying for this, I don't think so. How many Ford guys go on about the CVPI having the Mustang 4.6. Yeah...... the 99-04 260hp version of it is close....... Whooppeee doo..

I always assumed the CVPI did have basically the same 4.6 from the Mustang GT.....What are the differences????

The P71's have their own engine. They have the PI heads that came along in 99 but their own cams. It's just a 16 valve 4.6....... not the 3 valve engine that came along in 2005 in S197 Mustangs. And even to this day gets stomped on by the LT1's of 13 years agao.

^^^^Its probably a transformer. Something like capriceitron, It flies as well... Btw, whats a lt1p2? Google that and it brings up only 2 other matching results, both refering to this car. All the other results are various pages that just happen to have the letters l t 1 p 2 spread about in the text... lt1p2 must be where all that extra hp comes from.....lol!

But yeah... the guy might as well say that the thing can fly and shoot missiles as well. It wouldn't sound any crazier than the rest of his claims. Then maybe he'd even have a shot at his asking price.
