It will work with any comustar alarm. As far as viper, I don't no. When u get the computrack installed u get a cell phone number. But make sure the place that hook it up, doesn't cheat u and not hook up all the features. Like flash lights and honk horn. And disable and enable the starter.

I was told by a autorizeed computrack dealer I could have my viper 5901 alarm hooked up to it.

Yea I think you'll like the 5901 alot, I just got mine hooked up 2 days ago and I think it's great and with the little add ons you put to it makes it even that much better.

i dont like the idea that any phone sendin a text message could activate my car.

It has to be ur phone that u register with it and u must have a pin number that u put in as well

my battery just went dead. and now the alarm wont work no more. its a 791 XV. probably old ass alarm. i tried the valet switch so idk whats wrong with it.
