Default Nationals Pre-Event: Tour of the GM Heritage Center

We're trying to gauge interest in a Nationals Pre-Event tour of the GM Heritage Center. The tour would take place Tuesday August 14, 9am - 11am. The cost is $10 a person and we need 30 people minimum.

Not doable for me. Sounds interesting though.

This is a wonderful opportunity if you've never been lucky enough to get in the place.
I went in July of 2011 and it was amazing! GM rarely opens it up for viewing,3-4 times a year.

As a life long GM fan,I was literally awstruck to be standing next to(nothing was roped off)such famous, priceless GM historically important vehicles like Harley Earl's Y-Job and many other vehicles. So many concept cars, old and new as well as just about everything GM built is represented here.

Pinky Randall, former owner of the "Last SS", sold it to the Heritage center, along with some of his other "Last built" vehicles. This is the last 96 Impala SS built.

Go if you can do it! Unfortunately I will not be able to come up until Wednesday.

We're confirmed for a visit to the GM Heritage Center on Tuesday August 14 at 9am. Don't be late, budget a 20-30 minute drive from Fairfield Inn with traffic. Please don't be late.

General Motors Heritage Center
6400 Center
Sterling Heights, MI 48312

Admission is $10 per person, Cash only! You'll pay me before we go in. I need to turn in a head count on August 8, so if you know anyone that wants to attend please let me know ASAP.

This event is a self guided tour. The staff will give a shortintroduction then we are free to roam around.

Thanks,
Don

We're in for 2, provided our hotel room is available for Monday night instead of Tuesday.

If not, anyone got a spare bed/floor we can crash on Monday night?
