Default New from Sweden

Hi there, got myself a '92 Roadmaster Limited a while ago. It's intended for comfortable road trips and our holiday driving.

Here's a pic.

I've wondered, was this car manufactured for export to Sweden or some other European country, or was it imported privately and modified?

I've seen some other American cars that have been imported. Some, like an old for-export Imperial I saw, had special red and amber tail lights that are not available in the US that way, while others just get holes drilled in the fenders for the side marker lights and extra lights bolted to the rear bumper.

Hi, this one was originally exported to Belgium for use at the US embassy there. probably modified there, the mph scale is overpainted but the odometer is not modified. The lights modifications are done well, not like some horrible conversions that can be seen over here. The car then came to Sweden in 2001, I bought it from the first swedish owner earlier this spring. 145000 miles on the meter.
I'll post some more pictures later if anyone's interested in how it's done.
