depending on Those there will give you some more in regards to ET & 60 ft.
Staging shallow, bring her up to 2grand, stomp gas. Fat tires not wanting to spin, it's a pretty sticky track. Leaving it in drive, just got the tach in this week, afraid to shift it myself w/o a tach before.

Tires - How is your pressures? How is your footprint on the rears? What are you running size / pressure wise on the front?
25 IN REAR, 35 IN FRONT. 225/60R15s in front. (ABS sensors are FREAKING OUT!)

And if it where me I would go to a 2.5" ditch (or store away) that 3" pipe for now, until you have better supporting mods for it
I was kinda thinking that way myself. Noticeable low-end loss with the big x-pipe, tho exhaust work overall boosted power, just upwards in RPM.

Trapping A.K.A going through the Traps = Finish line

I suggest you play with air pressures some more, as well as your Launch RPM.

When I race I always pump up the fronts to 38 to 40 psi (mind you this is on fresh tires) to get the least amount of rolling resistance on the front tires.

I found with mine that bringing the RPMs up to just under where my converter flashed was MY sweet spot.

Next time you go try running with the front sway bar disconnected, and see if it helps your 60 ft

I also suggest you make a LOG BOOK. Log everything. When bracket racing it helped me ALOT. Make sure you note any changes you have done to the car as well

Weather
Temps
Humidity
Track Conditions
Car / Engine Temps
Tire Pressures
Launch RPM
Shift Points
60 ft
E.T
MPH

BUT Most of all just have fun....................

Log book sounds like a great idea. I have been writing the air temp on each time slip as I pull back into the staging lanes, since temp has been having such a dramatic effect on the times. The other info would be great to track too. What effect does the sway bar have on 60ft times? Learning all kinds of new stuff here!

Ok, so now that I know what trapping is, I will have to pay attention to RPMs. I have been paying too much attention to the other car's position and whether or not I am gonna break out! Haha

Thanks for all the info!
Tom

Quicker weight transfer - try it both ways mounted up, and with it unhooked/off see which way yeilds the best results
